About the Group:
As single mothers, there are times when we get caught up in the day-to-day, that we miss the opportunity to surrender to God daily and light the way for our children to find their own path to faith. As a single mother, I have come to find one of the greatest catapults for my healing, and my walk with the Lord has been community specifically the community at Grace.
Our Single Moms Study gives single moms the opportunity to form a community while learning how to continue surrendering our lives to God's calling for us amidst parenting alone and dwelling, for the time being, in our singleness. Jesus calls us to love our neighbors as we would love ourselves, and before we can pour this love into others, we must allow Jesus to work on our hearts, and pour his love into us.
Leader:
Janelle is a working mom of one little one. She has been attending Grace Community Church for 3 years. Outside of work, she loves to be outside, or spend time with friends.
Meeting: Online, weekly on Wednesdays at 7:00pm.
