Opportunities To Serve with our Ministry Partners

--

Serve Saturdays at AFAC
--

With the increase of clients, AFAC needs some extra help for chicken bagging. This is very different from the regular produce bagging & sorting we've done in the past: volunteers will be handling (with gloves, of course), frozen, raw chicken. This isn't for everyone but hopefully YOU can help! Kids ages 12yo and up are welcome to join.

Volunteer at Summer Lights
--

At Summer Lights, kids have the opportunity to enjoy summer to the fullest. They explore their interests, cement their math and reading skills, and play in a safe environment while having healthy meals to keep their energy levels up! Summer Lights has become an exciting staple in many of Little Lights' communities, with kids lining up at the door waiting for it to open, knowing there will be a smiling face waiting for them. *Please note that all volunteers must be 16 years of age or older to participate.

Be a Bright Bridges Mentor
--

By being a mentor, you have a chance to be a consistent role model where there may not be one. This program encourages students to increase their ability to perform in school and social settings, create environments that will build an internal sense of positive self-worth and self-efficacy, and promote students to establish healthy bonds with people and institutions. This program is about creating connections that will last their lifetime. This is for volunteers who can make a long-term commitment to mentor a youth; this is not a one-time opportunity. Volunteers must be 18+ and go through a background check.
